What is a muslin swaddle?

A muslin swaddle is a lightweight, breathable baby wrap designed to gently secure your newborn. Swaddling helps recreate that cosy, womb-like feeling, which many babies find calming and comforting.

What size is the muslin swaddle?

Each swaddle is 120 × 120cm, big enough to swaddle securely and versatile enough to keep using as your baby grows.

What is the muslin swaddle made from?

Our muslin swaddles are a blend of 70% bamboo and 30% GOTS certified organic cotton for softness, breathability and durability. They're also OEKO-TEX certified, so there are no harmful nasties.

Are bamboo muslin swaddles better than cotton?

Bamboo is extra soft, breathable and moisture-wicking. Blended with organic cotton, you get that softness plus the durability to handle wash after wash, so it keeps your baby comfortable all year round.

Is the muslin swaddle suitable for newborns?

Yes. Our muslin swaddles are suitable from birth. The bamboo and organic cotton blend is soft, breathable and gentle on newborn skin.

Is the muslin fabric safe for sensitive skin?

Yes. It's made with GOTS certified organic cotton and OEKO-TEX certified materials, which means it's tested for harmful substances and suitable for sensitive skin.

Is the muslin swaddle breathable for warm weather?

Yes. Bamboo is naturally breathable and moisture-wicking, helping regulate your baby's temperature. Ideal for summer and easy to layer year round.

How do I wash and care for a muslin swaddle?

Machine wash on a cold or gentle wash (no hotter than 30°) with like colours, then line dry when you can. Avoid tumble drying.

Can a muslin swaddle be used for more than swaddling?

Absolutely. Use it as a pram cover, feeding cover, lightweight blanket, tummy-time mat or comfort blanket on the go. It's the one you'll keep reaching for.

How many muslin swaddles do I need?

Most parents find two to four is the sweet spot. That way there's always a clean one ready while the others are in the wash.

When should I stop swaddling my baby?

We pack and send orders from Brisbane every business day, and most leave us within 2 business days (allow up to 3 during busy sale periods). Orders placed after 10am Friday are sent the following Monday.

What is your returns policy?
